<p><strong>Lucas FM da Silva</strong>&nbsp;is Full Professor at the Department of&nbsp;Mechanical Engineering at the Faculty of Engineering of the University of Porto&nbsp;(FEUP).&nbsp;He leads the&nbsp;Advanced&nbsp;Joining Processes Unit (AJPU) of the Institute of Science and&nbsp;Innovation in Mechanical Engineering and Industrial Engineering (INEGI).&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Paulo A.F. Martins</strong>&nbsp;is Professor of Manufacturing at Instituto Superior Técnico, University of Lisbon, Portugal. He is Doctor Technices Honoris Causa by the&nbsp;Technical University of Denmark and Fellow of the International Academy for Production Engineering. His research is focused on forming and joining by forming, and he is co‐author of 6 books and over 400 papers in international journals and conferences.&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Uwe Reisgen</strong>&nbsp;obtained his doctoral degree at the RWTH Aachen University (Germany) in 1995. Since 2007, he is University Professor, Holder of&nbsp;Chair and Head of the ISF—Welding and Joining Institute, RWTH Aachen University, Germany.</p><p><br></p>
