Research Paper (postgraduate) from the year 2024 in the subject Engineering - Mining Engineering, grade: 100, , course: Post-Doc, language: English, abstract: Exploratory surveys (geochemical and geophysical) are important and basic steps in the mineral exploration; The importance of this stage includes several reasons that are intertwined; First, the precision and accuracy of the measured data compared to the investigated community, whether they are representative of it or not, and can the data be used as representative of the community in future studies? Second, the density of exploratory surveys that is directly related to management resources (Time, cost, human and equipment); Third, the exact location of the exploration, which must be purposefully selected, so that optimal results can be obtained by spending the least amount of resources.
The objectives of this research project are: (1) identifying and prioritizing geographical locations for optimal exploration; (2) study and operational focus on targeted and promising areas; (3) optimizing the consumption of management resources; (4) increasing the efficiency of exploration operations compared to classical methods; (5) Identification of potential areas and exploration of deposits and mineral resources in a patterned manner with the least wastage of resources (6) Modeling of exploration of various elements using exploratory keys to be used in similar areas. The study algorithm of the current research is presented in the flowchart in Figure 1.
