The idea of ​​the book came after the historian gathered his messages that he was sending from the home of his journey in Europe to the newspaper "Al -Ahram", so he published it under the title "A tour of Spain", as he added to it what its benefit was completed, and added to it a word that deals with its history, moving away from everything that affects the passion Religious or nationalism, or what calls for extremism in praise or criticism. The book included drawings added by the historian containing some of the pictures of the beautiful monuments that the Arabs left in Andalusia. The book "The Journey of Andalusia" contained an appendix to the messages that formed a brief dictionary of all the names of the countries that were in the era of the Arabs and the corresponding to the French names.
