Mahmoud Al -Khaff: He is a historian, critic, poet and novelist. He presented many distinguished historical, literary and critical writings, born in the city of Al -Shuhada in Menoufia Governorate in 1909 AD, memorized the Holy Qur'an in the village's books, then moved with his family to Cairo, and joined the Hassan Pasha Maher School in the castle. The light was appointed as a teacher of history in the secondary department in Al -Azhar religious institutes, and a teacher in Shubra Secondary Schools, Sohag Secondary, and Heliopolis Secondary. The Ministry of Education assigned him to prepare two books to reform Egypt's national history, then he traveled to London in a mission to prepare teachers, and after his return he worked as a first inspector of social materials at the Ministry of Education, then he became a headmaster of the Ibrahimi Secondary School.
