This book was published in 1992, in which Dr. Mustafa Mahmoud deals with the approach of one of the leaders of Sufism, namely Muhammad bin Abdul-Jabbar bin Al-Hasan Al-Naffari, delving into the ideas stated in his book "Attitudes and Addresses" on many issues, such as monotheism, the Sufi's relationship with his Lord, and what It is described as divine love, and the etiquette of communicating with God. It also explains and analyzes Imam al-Nifari's doctrine of divine knowledge, and goes into detail about the positions of those who arrive and their ranks with God in this world and the hereafter. Thus, it is considered a reference in the Sufi approach and their understanding of issues of religion and belief.
مصطفى محمود (27 ديسمبر 1921 – 31 أكتوبر 2009)، هو فيلسوف وطبيب وكاتب مصري. ألف 89 كتابًا منها الكتب العلمية والدينية والفلسفية والاجتماعية والسياسية إضافة إلى الحكايات والمسرحيات وقصص الرحلات، ويتميز أسلوبه بالجاذبية مع العمق والبساطة. كان مصطفى محمود مقدّمًا لأكثر من 400 حلقة من برنامجه التلفزيوني الشهير (العلم والإيمان). أنشأ عام 1979 مسجده في الجيزة المعروف باسم «مسجد مصطفى محمود». ويتبع له ثلاثة مراكز طبية تهتم بعلاج ذوي الدخل المحدود. وشكل قوافل للرحمة من ستة عشر طبيبًا، ويضم المسجد الجمعية الفلكية بمسجد محمود، ومتحفاً للجيولوجيا، يقوم عليه أساتذة متخصصون. ويضم المتحف مجموعة من الصخور الجرانيتية، والفراشات المحنطة بأشكالها المتنوعة وبعض الكائنات البحرية. أُطلق على كويكب اسم (296753) مصطفى محمود تكريمًا له.
