<p>Scattered Shadows tackles the unseen spiritual world around us while bringing together a known psychiatric condition with the alleged reality of supernatural activity. Joshua Gregory Pierce is a forty-nine-year-old, anal-retentive night manager at Walmart. He sees and hears things that others cannot. Although he recognizes this as a gift, he has kept it a secret even from his closest confidants. Now with the advent of a new girlfriend in his life, Sarah Mickey, that may be about to change. Through supernatural means, Joshua knows of the carnal activities that Sarah's thirteen-year-old daughter, Jessica, shares with her older boyfriend, Terrence Beck, and the demonic activities that they have begun to entertain.
