Leslie Croxford is a British writer born in Alexandria, Egypt. He received a doctorate in History from Cambridge University and has published three novels, Solomon's Folly (Chatto & Windus, 1974), Deep Sahara (The Momentum Publishing Company, 2017) and Another Man (Paper + Ink, 2021).
He lives with his wife in Cairo where he was a founder of The British University in Egypt. In 2022 the Queen awarded him the Order of the British Empire for services to British Higher Education in Egypt
